Memorabilia collection
You must have observed some people having some very old or the vintage cars; some of them have some vintage gramophone or old clocks. These objects come under the memorabilia and collecting these vintage objects is known as the memorabilia collection.
The memorabilia may include old letters and old objects also. When these normal memorabilia is sometime related to the elapsed time factor all of a sudden they become precious.
Like the gramophones when they were first introduced in the market they were hand wound and had many drawbacks in them. Slowly these machines phased out from the market and replaced by some more advanced machines. Now these hand wound gramophones vanished from the market and at present it is very difficult to find a single working piece. So we can say safely that this machine has acquired a status of memorabilia. If you happen to have one in your possession then you can expect a good amount of money against it.
Likewise there are many other things besides the vintage cars or the vintage gramophone. You can look around your house first to start your collection. If you happen to have some pieces of articles connected to some special people, time and event of the bygone era then your collection may get more precious. In India this hobby is very popular as the people here like to get attached to the old sentiments easily. This hobby attaches the old and young, children and adult alike.
