Bleeding Gums

The bleeding gum is caused by the gingivitis infection mainly. Many times it is marked by inflammation and swelling. Many times you may have observed the occurrence of blood at the time of brushing of teeth. This is the beginning of the problem. If the problem is severe then go to the doctor. If it is just started then you may try some of the remedies described here.

Take a glass of warm water and add a generous pinch of salt to it and rinse your mouth with it, repeat the process twice a day. This will help to reduce the swelling in the affected areas.

Take half kilo of dried green guava peeling, 10 grams each of alum (Indian name phitkari), black pepper (Indian name kali mirch) and rock salt (Indian name sendha namak). Grind them together to make a fine powder. Take this powder and massage your gums gently with it. Repeat the process twice a day for one week to get the desired result.

Take a glass of warm water and add 10 to 15 drops of clove oil to it. Rinse your mouth two to three times a day to get the results. You may continue the process till the problem persists.

Massage your gums with a mixture of mustard oil and finely powdered salt daily to stop the bleeding.
