Boils

Usually boils are uncommon but they appear with the change of the season or change in food habits. The boils are very painful and divert the attention of the patient always toward it. The Indian home remedies offer effective remedies to the problem.

Take two cloves of fresh garlic and a small onion and make a paste out of it. Apply to the affected area twice a day. This would allow the boil to ripen soon and after removal of the pus it would help to cure the wound.

The Karela (Indian name of the bitter gourd) is also very effective in the boils. Take out the juice from the fresh bitter gourds; drink a cup of this juice daily to get rid of the ailment completely. The juice should be taken in the morning in empty stomach and continue for at least for one month.

Take pan (Indian name of betel leaf) and apply warm rendi (Indian name of the castor) oil on it. Now take the betel leaf and cover the affected area by it and if you tie it down then it would produce better results. Repeat this process hourly. The boil would get ripened and after removal of the pus. It would be on course towards healing.

Take two teaspoon of jeera (Indian name of the cumin seeds) and make a paste out of it. Cover the affected area using this paste to get the relief.

Take haldi (Indian name of turmeric) powder and roast it, make a paste with water and apply over the affected area to get the relief.

Take two tea spoons of tukh malanga (Indian name of the Sweet basil seeds); soak in one cup of water overnight, apply over the affected area and tie with a bandage it would ripen the boil in a day.
