Common Fever

Fever is a kind of ailment which is present world over. Usually the fever attacks you at the most unusual time. There are remedies available for the ailment in the Indian home remedies.

The tulsi (Indian name of basil) is considered holy in all Indian households. May be, it is due to the medicinal quality of the plant. The tulsi is considered as a remedy to wide array of ailments and common fever is one of them. Take 90 to 100 basil leaves and boil them in half liter of water, let the water to reduce to the half of the original volume. Take the potion and add 100ml of milk, one teaspoon of sugar and ΒΌ teaspoon of choti ilaichi (Indian name of cardamom) powder. Drink the mixture twice a day to get the relief.

Take two teaspoons of methi or the fenugreek seeds and add 2 cups of water to it bring it to boil. Let the volume of the water reduce to half. Strain and drink to get the relief twice a day.

Take out the fresh juice of khubani (Indian name of apricot) take a cup full of the juice and add one tea spoon of honey to get the relief.
